In 2017 , Dr.Vishma Prabhu completed her vitreoretinal fellowship at the renowned Aravind eye Hospital in Coimbatore.She then continued her education abroad and completed her fellowship at National University Hospital in Singapore. She is adept at managing common retinal disorders such as diabetic retinopathy, age -related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions and macula diseases such as central serous chorioretinopathy, thanks to her 9 years in Ophthalmology and 6 years in Vitro retina.

She is capable of performing independentlythe majority of simple and complex vitreoretinal surgeries.Her macular surgeries for macular hole and epiretinal membrane peeling are well known. Her gentle demeanour and modesty make her one of the most sought- after doctors by her patients. She is extremely enthusiastic about training the fellows.She has published more than ten research articles in high-impact national and international journals.

Her primary research interests are non-invasive macular imaging techniques such as OCT and OCT-Angiography. She has presented at and attended multiple national and international conferences.
