About
Dr. Thirumalesh MB, completed his medical education from Bangalore medical college in 2005 He completed his post-graduation at the Prestigious R.P.Centre ,AIIMS New Delhi in 2009 and started working as a senior Registrar at R.P.Centre for ophthalmic sciences, All India institute of medical sciences (New Delhi) till 2012 .He was conferred a fellowship in surgical Retina, FAICO by the Collegium of the All India Ophthalmic society in 2012.
His area of interests include the Modern Minimally invasive vitreous surgery (MIVS) for surgical macular holes and membranes and , Diabetic Tractional retinal detachments, Rhegmatogenous retinal detachments and also the Classic Scleral buckling.
His Current area of research is Molecular Biomarkers In Age related Macular degenerations and Diabetic retinopathy
