About
Dr Tejal SJ completed her medical education at Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore (2008), followed by an MS in Ophthalmology from Sri Devaraj Urs University, Kolar, where she was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence.
She further specialized with a fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery at Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore.
Dr Tejal has presented multiple scientific papers at National and International conferences and has been honored with several prestigious awards for her contributions to ophthalmology.
In addition to the presentations at conferences , she has published numerous research papers and has been actively involved in several clinical trials, contributing to advancements in cataract and refractive surgery.

I was operated by Dr Tejal for cataract in my right eye on 25/4/2018. The best quality I see in her is , she listens to the patients with patience, answers their questions to their satisfaction and makes them feel comfortable. After my surgery when it was found that a small fibre was remaining which made me worry , she told be the reason and got it cleaned and told me that I will be perfect in 2/3 days. It was really so and I felt perfect just after 2 days. Today was my check up after 10 days. She confirmed that iam perfect now and within limits I can start performing my routine activities. I thank her and Dr Aishwarya who did the cleaning on the second day for their professionlism and also Narayana Nethralaya. I wish both these doctors great future . Dr.Tejal,As my father had to undergo with the surgery of cataract because of his blurred vision in the right eye, I was suggested to visit Narayana Netralaya. And so his checkup and investigation of the cataract was done by Dr.Tejal and even operated by the same person. She did it good and my father's vision is normal and clear now.
