I am competent in doing vitreoretinal surgeries of varied difficulties. I have routinely been doing between 3-5 surgeries per week since I joined Narayana Nethralaya in 2009 till date and am proficient in use of all types of lasers for retinal diseases including slit-lamp laser, LIO and Pascal Laser and Laser for ROP babies.
One of my strengths lies in ophthalmic imaging including the interpretation of B- Scan, Spectral-Domain Optical Coherence Tomography, OCT Angiography, Fundus Autofluorescence, Fundus Fluorescein Angiography, Indocyanine Green Angiography.

Even ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ would not be enough for Dr. Subhashchandra H D. His expertise is beyond exceptional — not just 100%, but 110%. What truly sets him apart is his integrity. If he is not completely confident about something, he will never take risks with a patient’s eye. He only proceeds with treatments he fully believes in and ensures the patient is comfortable every step of the way. He is also open to taking second opinions from colleagues when needed — which shows his professionalism and humility (He himself doesn’t feel he knows everything in the world). Beyond his medical excellence, he patiently answers every question and clearly explains both pre- and post-surgery procedures. Most importantly, he treats his patients like family. As long as I am in India, he will always be my first choice for eye care. I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking the best ophthalmologist. And one more important thing — when we talk about hospitals, we usually focus only on doctors and facilities. But at Narayana Nethralaya, even the supporting staff are outstanding. For example, Anitha treated me like her own brother before my surgery. Not just her — the entire team is caring, professional, and supportive. Some staff members truly go above and beyond, and they deserve appreciation just as much as the doctors. Thank you to the whole team for such an exceptional experience.

need to share my recent experience at Narayana Nethralaya on Bannerghatta Road mainly in order to give credit where its due. Very clearly, Dr.Subash Chandra is a specialist who cares about his patients and goes above and beyond the call of his duty to ensure that all my concerns were addressed comprehensively and thoroughly. My thanks to him and also to optometrist Hemanth, whose accurate readings and eye power analysis resulted in a pair of progressive lens that needed no time to acclimatise and from day one, were so comfortable that they seemed a natural extension of my vision. Also, I owe thanks to Kumar at the Ben Franklin store, for his excellent coordination skills, which made me feel extremely satisfied as a customer. I am planning to take my mother also for a cataract surgery anytime soon.

Doctor and the other staff give due respect and care to the patient. Also maintains the facility very clean. Even during covid they have maintained dedicated staff to clean the chair and equipment after every patient check in a room. A well organized hospital which provides excellent eye Care. The hospital is very clean and spick and span. I have been getting treated by Dr.Subash Chandra for diabetic retinopathy for the last 7 years with excellent results. I would any day recommend visiting this hospital for any eye related problems. Dr.Subash Chandra is not only patient focused but also professionally extremely good. He explains the root cause for the retinopathy as well as the present status of retina in detail after examination. He also reviews the diabetes control also during the review visits for the eyes.

Very nice experience at this eye hospital. Everything is perfectly organized like cash counter, first eye check up, then second eye check up to assess power. Finally retinopathy. All token based ststem and first in first served basis of course you need to book prior appointment. Dr Subhash patiently hears your problems. Tells you about how frequently you can come, go through medical history and give letter wherever required for the consulting doctor. I took appointement for 9 am and complete process got completed by 11:30. Highly recommended for one stop solution for your eye care.
