Dr. Padmamalini Mahendradas heads the Uveitis and Ocular Immunology Services at Narayana Nethralaya in Bengaluru, India. She serves as a DNB coordinator and holds memberships in the International Uveitis Study Group (IUSG) and the International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS). Additionally, she is the President of the Uveitis Society of India (USI) and Vice President the Society of Inflammation Research (SIR).

Feedback for Dr. Padmamalini at Narayana Nethralaya I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Padmamalini for her exceptional care and treatment. I initially experienced distorted vision in my left eye, where objects appeared wavy and the lines I looked at were curved. After visiting several doctors in Bangalore over the course of two weeks, we were referred to Narayana Nethralaya, where we consulted with Dr. Ramgopal. He recommended I see Dr. Padmamalini, a specialist in uveitis. Upon examination, Dr. Padmamalini diagnosed me with either a punctate neovascular membrane or a choroidal neovascular membrane and advised starting Anti-VEGF injections. Thanks to her timely intervention and expertise, I am pleased to report that my vision has improved dramatically. Seven months later, I’ve regained about 98% of my vision. The distortion is almost completely gone, with only a slight curve remaining when I look at straight lines, but there are no other visible hindrances to my vision. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Padmamalini for her thorough diagnosis, compassionate care, and the ongoing support throughout my treatment. Thanks to her, I can see clearly again, and I will be forever thankful for the positive impact she’s had on my life

Doctors working here are very efficient and dedicated. I was treated by Dr. M. Padma Malini (Head of Uvea and Ocular Immunology). Her warm welcome, sweet smile and kind words made me feel that I do not have any problem at all. She has so much positive aura around her that makes even painful treatment process feel very easy. Narayan netralaya is the best place for eye related concerns. From registration till consultation with the doctor, the process is arranged in a systematic manner. I liked that very much. There is no confusion or hustle in between. Patients will be known beforehand that there will be a certain amount of waiting period, so that they can plan their day accordingly.They have got all sort of higher facilities like B scan etc for eye check up. I have referred friends and family members as well and their experience has also been good. Dr Padmamalini madam is very friendly and caring. She listens to concerns patiently and makes a note of every minute thing so that she does not miss anything in her treatment protocol. Her approach is very systematic and updated with the recent advances. So without any second thoughts in mind, she can be consulted and just leave your eye concerns to be taken care of and follow her treatment as advised.

I am on this treatment for the last 7 months and there is a great relief.Sister Rajeshwari - An excellent person who does a great job in caring patients understanding their needs and also scheduling appointments. Also when a patient comes the respect and courtesy they give is worth noting. I rate her 10 out of 10. Councellor Sukanya is person who courteous and patient friendly and deserves 9 out of 10 in terms of rating.
