One dedicated staff member to greet and direct people is a huge help, comfort factor and time saver especially for first timers like me. Everything went like clockwork. Well organized. Well equipped, Hygienic, Pleasant environment, well lit, calm music, spacious lounge, plenty of visual aids to educate people about eye ailments, qualifications of surgeons, procedures available etc. Best of all, everyone starting from counter attendant to the surgeon were very kind. I am very satisfied with the way Doctor Narendra K P treated my father, and how he took extra efforts to make him feel comfortable and informed. Doctor Narendra KP has successfully performed cataract surgery for my father despite many complications in this case. Grateful to everyone involved with this institution. Update 2020: I have revisited Narayana nethralaya bannerghatta road branch multiple times now for my father's and mother's cataract surgeries. The place, people and service is top notch as ever. The visit was very fruitful. We met Dr. Chaitra D Aroor who very patiently explained the diagnosis of my mother. Thank you Doctor & Narayana Netralaya for the experience. Subsequently last month (Oct 2024), my mother underwent contract operation in her right eye under the leadership of Dr. Narendra K P & team. The whole process was a smooth affair (very well defined and executed). The counsellors do a great job of educating the patient & family on what needs to be done before the surgery which helps us prepare ourselves for the surgery. The support staff is a group of well coordinated team who clear all your doubt. One of the best things that I liked is the pre & post operative medications prescription which is so clearly documented that anyone will be able to comprehend it. Kudos for designing it that way. We have had two family members under go cataract surgeries at the Narayana Nethralaya, Bannerghatta Road Branch lately . The experience and outcomes of the procedures have been extremely satisfactory . Happy that we chose Narayana of all the other eye hospitals in Bangalore. The staff , right from reception the surgeons and consultants to the counselors is very meticulous and well versed in their respective fields. Dr.K.P.Narendra needs a special mention for his competence and extreme commitment to the profession. Ms.Disha Pande the optometrist is another team member whose unwavering high spirits and competence at work is a perfect example of commitment and professionalism . The systems the hospital follows are fit to be an example for the industry . Appointments are well managed thereby greatly reducing waiting times . The cost of treatment is also quite competitive and reasonable for the services the hospital provides . Our experience at hospital has been extremely satisfying. The recovery time from cataract surgery in our case was remarkably low with absolutely no discomfort whatsoever. Highly recommended for anyone seeking eye treatment in Bangalore.

After checking with couple of eye hospitals, finalized this for my mother cataract surgery for their honest opinion about the current status of the eye. Dr. Narendra truly helped my mother in understanding the eyes issue and supported all the way pre and post surgery . She felt secured and comforted. Initially, another eye hospital estimated 1.5 lakh for eye surgery for both eyes. After getting second opinion from Dr. Narendra, we understood the situation and had surgery for only problematic eye and it went well under 60k overall including all tests and surgery costs. Dr. Narendra KP operated on my 71 year old father with great amount of skill and more importantly kindness. We're very grateful to him. My aged father who has Dementia and had already lost vision in 1 eye many years ago, had been admitted for cataract surgery in the other eye. But due to his condition, he was not at all cooperative while performing cataract surgery and even got off the surgery table mid surgery. This increased the risk of the surgery by a huge margin. Yet the doctor and his team very skillfully resumed the surgery by calling me inside the OT to calm down my father and finally my father has been gifted with good vision now. Thanks also to Dr Kishore (Anesthesiologist) for handling the sedation skillfully and also giving us support during the surgery. This hospital one of the cleanest and well mantained hospital I have come across anytime. The staff of this hospital is very courteous and very responsible. I have left my mother alone 2 times due to personal emergency asking them to take care of her and believe me they have taken proper care of her. The insurance councellor is very polite and will detail you everything. The insurance department has helped me to arrange the documents well for medical reimbursement which is very rare in hospitals. Also my mother has shown to Dr. Narendra KP and he has done both eye cataract surgery. He is the master in his art and always greeted my mother well and always given confidence to her pre and post surgery. My father in law was treated by Dr Narendra KP for cataract surgery. We are highly greatful to him and we are very much relieved, as the cataract operated was thick enough and other doctors were thinking to for manual operation, but Mr Narendra gave us lot of confidence and did a laser surgery. Narayana Nethralaya has a great system to coordinate the patients as you don’t have to worry where to go for tests, as their system takes care of everything and you just have to follow whatever they say. We visited NN-Unit 4 hospital in Bannergatta road for my mother's cataract surgery. Like other hospital's Doctor did not scare us. He said operation needs to be done but nothing urgent. It can be done antime within 6 months. So we took our time and got operated for my mother. Doctor Narendra is very polite and communicated from first day to last day was very kind. He was informative and filled us with courage. We met Dr Subhashchandra Doralli, Dr HarshaRao for my Fathers eye check(Glaucoma) They were also kind and helpful. Overall All 3 Dr's are highly qualified and very generous. We met Dr Diksha mam who was also very supportive and helpful. Hospital has parking facility and premises are clean and appointment system is good. Hospital staffs are also good.

One of the best hospitals in the city. Got my father's cataract surgery done here. His was a difficult case due to old age, physical condition and existing medical conditions. Several other hospitals and doctors had outright said nobody can operate him. My father was diagnosed with glaucoma and cataract earlier in native. we wanted to have a second opinion. Dr. Narendra was very good with diagnosis and e was calm and explained the present situation and didn't recommend the cataract as it was in primary stage, though I had insurence covered. He walked my father all the way till the door which shows his humbleness and caring. I recommend this Dr without thinking twice. Thank you
