About
Graduated from KMC, Manipal in 1996, post graduation in ophthalmology (MS) from Govt medical College, Mysore. Completed fellowship in glaucoma from LVPEI, Hyderabad and was a faculty in same institute. Later worked in Lotus Eye Hospital, Coimbatore for 3 years and joined as Glaucoma consultant in NN1 in 2009. Apart from the clinical work he had presented various papers in national and international conferences and also published papers in international journals.

My Mother is being treated here by Dr. Yathish, Dr.Dhanraj and Dr.Priya. Overall the interaction and experience of visiting here is truly satisfying. All three of the doctors are very genuinely caring and very calm and supportive for any questions. At the same time, they point out the necessity of any immediate surgery or treatment needed without delaying. I would say communication has been very clear. Our day during a periodic check up starts at 8:30 and ends by 11 so for people who travel from far like us, they help to accommodate the time in morning slots which is very supportive. We also saw modification done during this covid situation taking details of patients, sanitizing, the staff wearing PPE etc... Best eye care center for all your eye related issues n diseases!!! They have saved my eye that had badly injured during a paint ball expidation!! Dr Naveen Kumar Nayak from retina department nd Dr Dhanraj Rao from glaucoma department had closely monitored me for over 6 months n they had been transparent in every step of treatment n surgeries that they had in plan, they had been a great pillar of support during the treatment period n constantly kept me motivating!!!
