She is a senior consultant and heads the Cataract Department. She is well versed with routine and complex cataract surgeries, post refractive cataract surgeries, femtosecond laser cataract surgeries, cataracts with systemic diseases, traumatic cataract surgeries and early onset cataracts in young adults. She has a keen interest in biometers, phaco machines, complex IOL calculations. She takes active part in post graduate training, fellowship training and surgical training.

She also heads the hospital infection control of the hospital. She is also actively involved in ophthalmic research and has been co- investigator for several projects. She has multiple national and international presentations to her credit.
